    Each spike responds to tension in your body, so more tension = more sensation. The initial “Ouch!” you feel activates your body’s pain response and tells it to send happiness hormones and pain-relief chemicals to the area you’re targeting. If those spikes aren’t sharp enough – or you’re beyond relaxed already – you won’t feel much.

Love at first spike

I put off ordering a Shakti Mat for so long. I was intrigued, wanted to try it, but also it was a lot to spend and I couldn't decide whether to get the mat, the pillow, or the Wonder Ball. Then this offer came up and I ordered all three.

Oh. My God. It was love at first spike. Why did I wait so long? I have missed out on so much delicious spikeyness. I'm making up for it now, using the mat and premium pillow in bed before sleep, in bed when I wake up, on the sofa while I watch TV.

The mat is beautifully made. I love the soft green Tulsi colour. So happy I bought the bundle. Best investment I've made in a long time.
